Tuesday night saw wins for Hollands & Blair, Tunbridge Wells and Deal Town while Chatham Town drew for the first time this season, with Bearsted holding them to a stalemate in Otham.
Deal and Hollands & Blair were both 3-0 victors at home. The Hoops saw off Canterbury City, with Billy Munday, Rene Rivera and Ben Chapman finding the net whilst Charlie Gill, Joe Kane and Tom Loynes were all on target for Blair against Rusthall.
Tunbridge Wells came from behind to beat Erith & Belvedere 2-1 at Park View Road.
Freddie Cray gave the hosts a first half lead before Jordan Wells and Tom Carlton scored within a minute of each other to see Wells go home with the points.
Chatham Town’s goalless game at Bearsted was the first time the Chats had failed to score in a league game since before Covid appeared on these shores. They remain clear at the top though and have a 5 point advantage while the impressive result for the Bears moves them closer to a top half place.
