Tooting Bec handed Stansfeld their first defeat of this league season today and in doing so drew level with their beaten opponents at the top of the First Division table.

Bec picked up the points thanks to goals from Panikos Oritis and Ed Mbango while Joe Borland pulled one back for Stansfeld in second half injury time.

The points were shared between Larkfield & New Hythe and Bridon Ropes – which keeps both sides positioned in the play-off places.

Mojeed Adisa scored early for ‘Ropes’ with Jake Beecroft levelling for the hosts in the 73rd minute.

It was honours even between Croydon and Faversham Strike Force too, despite ‘The Trams’ falling behind to 2 early goals.

Tom Barton and Ali Wren each netted in the first 10 minutes for Strike Force but a brace from Richard Pingling saw the points shared out.

Elsewhere there were 3-2 home wins for Lewisham Borough and SC Thamesmead, while Rochester United picked up a comfortable 4-0 victory over Chessington & Hook.

Sutton Athletic won late at Snodland Town, Westside beat Meridian VP and Kent Football United came out best in a 7-goal thriller at Staplehurst Monarchs.

Joedon Gugas-Cowin got the only goal of the game as FC Elmstead beat Forest Hill Park 1-0.
