There were 5 First Division games this Good Friday and from them Chessington & Hook, Faversham Strike Force, Greenways, Larkfield & New Hythe and Staplehurst Monarchs all picked up wins.

Larkfield were the clearest victors of the day as they won 4-0 at Meridian VP.

Ethan Stewart netted a double for the 3rd placed side who are on course for their target of a home play off tie.

For Meridian, it will be a nervy final week of the season, with 4th bottom in the table looking a tough ask and their current 3rd bottom position not yet confirmed as a safe place to be.

It is Staplehurst Monarchs that sit directly above VP and they now have a 5 point gap thanks to today’s win at home to Bridon Ropes.

Omar El Mantawy’s only goal of the game just before the break looks to have confirmed Staplehurst’s survival in the Division whilst heavily damaging Ropes play-off hopes at the same time.

Chessington & Hook picked up one of their results of the season so far when beating Rochester United 3-0.

Reece Jackson, Ayden Richards and Aaron Cole-Bolt were all on target for Chessy, who will now have hope of Step 6 survival.

Greenways are up to 11th following their 3-1 home win over Croydon.

Farai Maganga, Jake Lovell and Si Walton all scored for the Greens as they practically ended The Trams chances of a prized top 5 finish.

Stansfeld suffered a rare defeat as Faversham Strike Force came from behind to win late on at Rede Court Road.

James Hawkins stunning free-kick had set the Champions on, to what looked like yet another 3 points, but late replies from Ali Wren and Kane Taylor saw 13th placed Faversham take the honours.
