Sunday 26th September

Jersey Bulls 5-0 Crowborough Athletic

We had 14 teams progress today from Saturday’s 19 FA Vase ties and they will each now eagerly await Monday’s next round draw.

Erith & Belvedere, Kent Football United and Glebe were each 5-0 winners on the road while Stansfeld won 5-1 and Holmesdale picked up a 4-0 victory.

In the all-SCEFL games Tunbridge Wells beat Canterbury City 4-1, which was the same scoreline that Snodland Town overcame Sutton Athletic. Forest Hill Park won 3-2 at Greenways as did Sheppey United at Erith Town.

Two games went to penalties following 1-1 draws. Lordswood beat Seaford Town on spot-kicks while Rochester United won an epic shoot-out at home to Chessington & Hook 8-7!

Staplehurst Monarchs won late on at Hailsham Town and Bridon Ropes continued their fine start to the season by progressing to the First Round with a 3-1 win at Saltdean United.

Fisher received a Walkover after their opponents, Little Common, had cases of Covid in their camp.

Sunday saw Crowborough Athletic fly to Jersey to take on one of the favourites for the competition Jersey Bulls, who showed their class by winning 5-0.
