Three SCEFL sides booked their places in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup, while two more will get another chance in midweek replays.

Snodland Town also impressed on the road, beating Harrow Borough 3-1 with Harry Hudson grabbing a brace, while Petts Wood & Holmesdale enjoyed the biggest win of the day, cruising to a superb 5-1 victory at Raynes Park Vale, including two goals from Charlie Clover.

There could yet be five SCEFL clubs in the next round. Corinthian drew 1-1 at Broadfields United, while SE Dons earned a 1-1 draw at Punjab United, meaning both ties will require midweek replays.

Preliminary Round Replays

Corinthian 0-1 Broadfields United

SE Dons 2-0 Punjab United

Two SCEFL sides were back in Emirates FA Cup action on Tuesday night as the Preliminary Round replays were decided.

Corinthian’s FA Cup journey came to an end following a 1-0 home defeat against Broadfields United, with a first-half goal proving the difference between the sides.

There was better news for SE Dons, who secured their place in the next round with an impressive 2-0 victory over Punjab United. Reece Barrett opened the scoring on 60 minutes before Joshua Bohui sealed the win four minutes from time.

The reward for the Dons is a home tie against Erith Town on Saturday 5th September – a particularly significant occasion as it will be SE Dons’ first competitive fixture at their new Oakwood home.

The Extra Preliminary Round saw plenty of drama as the SCEFL clubs began their Emirates FA Cup campaigns.

Eight sides secured their places in the next round at the first attempt, with Snodland Town getting things started with a Friday night victory at Faversham Strike Force. Beckenham Town, SE Dons, Tunbridge Wells, AFC Greenwich Borough, Rusthall, Bearsted and Erith & Belvedere then joined them over the weekend.

The standout result came from SE Dons, who marked their first-ever FA Cup appearance in style with a stunning 6-0 victory at Lancing, while Erith & Belvedere enjoyed a convincing 4-1 Sunday success against Billingshurst.

Four SCEFL sides required replays. Petts Wood & Holmesdale won a five-goal thriller at Tooting & Mitcham United, while Corinthian came through an extraordinary 5-3 victory at Lingfield. Kennington and Hollands & Blair saw their campaigns come to an end in their respective replays.

That left ten SCEFL clubs progressing from the Extra Preliminary Round and continuing their journey in the Emirates FA Cup.
