PREMIER DIVISION
Kennington 1-4 Bearsted
Punjab United 0-1 Whitstable Town
Two games, two away wins—and one of them might just have sealed the title race.
Whitstable Town edged ever closer to glory with a narrow but massive 1-0 win at Punjab United. Jack Nelson’s late strike on 86 minutes proved decisive, sending Whitstable to within touching distance of the title, now just four points away. It wasn’t flashy, but at this stage, it’s all about getting the job done.
Bearsted, meanwhile, boosted their play-off push in emphatic fashion with a 4-1 win at Kennington. Phil Headley opened the scoring from the spot before James Bessey struck twice—either side of a Ryan Philpott reply—to keep control of the game. A late Sam Stace goal added gloss to the scoreline, with Bearsted now up to 3rd and looking like a side hitting form at exactly the right time.
