Greenways 2-0 Lydd Town

Staplehurst Monarchs 3-0 FC Elmstead

 

There were two home wins in the First Division on Tuesday night, with both sides boosting their positions in the table.

Greenways moved up to seventh place with a 2-0 victory over Lydd Town. Joe Thomas opened the scoring in the 34th minute before Aston Freeman sealed the points shortly after the break.

Staplehurst Monarchs also strengthened their push towards the play-off places with an impressive 3-0 win against FC Elmstead, damaging the visitors’ own top five hopes in the process. Sam Harris set the hosts on their way early on, with Bradley Webb doubling the lead before Jerome Lee wrapped things up in the second half.
