From junction 2 of the M25 take the A2 and then the M2 towards Dover. On reaching the end of M2 take the A299 towards Margate.
Stay on the A299 for 16 miles until you reach the roundabout and take the 2nd turning for the A28 towards Margate. After 4 miles you will see the Margate boundary sign, and the dual carriage way will become a 2-way road.
After passing the BP garage and a pub called the Hussar, both on the right, you will pass through a set of traffic lights, take the 2nd right onto George V avenue (signposted Ramsgate A254), and follow it up and around to the left passing the Hartsdown Academy School on your right.
At the end of this road you will reach a T junction, turn right into Hartsdown Road. The entrance to the ground is a little further down on the left-hand side.

MINSTER FC – A History
Founded in 1911, Minster FC is one of the oldest registered football clubs in Kent and has remained at the heart of the Minster-on-Sea community for well over a century. Throughout its history, generations of local players, volunteers and families have helped shape the club, creating a proud tradition that continues today.
For many years Minster competed in local football before joining the Kent County League in 2019. Success quickly followed as the Hinds secured successive promotions to reach the Premier Division, while also lifting the Kent County Inter-Regional Challenge Cup during the 2021/22 season.
The club continued to establish itself as one of the leading sides in the Kent County League, finishing runners-up in the Premier Division on three occasions and narrowly missing out on the title in 2021/22 on goal difference. Those consistent performances earned Minster promotion to the Southern Counties East Football League First Division ahead of the 2026/27 season – marking the club’s first campaign in the National League System.
Off the pitch, Minster has continued to grow with the development of youth football, a thriving women’s side and a commitment to serving the local community. The club will play its home fixtures at Hartsdown Park, home of Margate FC, as it embarks on an exciting new chapter.
The 2026/27 season promises to be a landmark one for the Hinds as they make both their SCEFL and FA Vase debuts, looking to continue a remarkable rise through the football pyramid.
