SCEFL Charity Month – Supporting Fight Bladder Cancer UK in Memory of John Moules
The Southern Counties East Football League is proud to once again support Fight Bladder Cancer UK this season, raising vital funds in memory of our much-missed friend and colleague, John Moules.
Fundraising will continue throughout the 2026/27 season, but October has been designated as the SCEFL’s dedicated charity month, with clubs across the Premier Division and First Division helping to raise money and awareness at selected fixtures.
Fight Bladder Cancer UK is a patient-led charity providing support, information and a voice for people affected by bladder cancer.
More than 20,000 people are diagnosed with bladder cancer in the UK every year, making it one of the ten most common cancers in the country, yet it remains a disease that can often be overlooked.
The charity works to increase awareness and improve access to information and support, while helping more people recognise the importance of an early diagnosis.
Throughout October, supporters attending a number of SCEFL fixtures will have the opportunity to contribute to the fundraising campaign, with collections and other activities taking place around the League.
