The FA Vase takes centre-stage this weekend, but there are still four intriguing SCEFL Premier Division fixtures to look forward to on Saturday afternoon.

Phoenix Sports make the trip to Faversham Strike Force with both sides searching for their first league victory of the new campaign. Phoenix suffered late heartbreak in their opening game, losing 3-2 at home to Petts Wood & Holmesdale, while Strike Force earned a point from a six-goal thriller at Tunbridge Wells.

Larkfield & New Hythe will be looking to build on their winning start when they welcome Tunbridge Wells. Larkfield opened with a 3-2 victory at Sutton Athletic, while Wells showed plenty of fighting spirit to grab a late equaliser in their 3-3 draw with Faversham Strike Force.

Snodland Town also began with three points and travel to Chislehurst Glebe after their 1-0 opening-day victory over last season’s play-off finalists Rusthall. Glebe will be looking for a response after defeats in both league and cup competition at the start of the campaign.

Perhaps the standout league fixture of the afternoon comes at Rusthall, where Fisher are the visitors. Both clubs reached the play-offs last season and will expect to be challenging towards the top end of the table again this time around. Neither managed an opening-day victory, so both will be keen to get that first three-point haul on the board.
