The weather once again took centre stage in the First Division, with just three of Saturday’s fixtures surviving the conditions.

The pick of the action came in Dartford, where Halls AFC and SC Thamesmead served up a six-goal thriller and had to settle for a point apiece.

Halls, who sit 11th in the table, struck through Zack Manning — converting a 17th-minute penalty before adding a second shortly after the break — and Sam Bayford, who made it 3–2 on 66 minutes.

Thamesmead had flown out of the blocks, opening the scoring through Lewis Cann inside four minutes and doubling their lead via Jamie Williams shortly after. They looked set to leave empty-handed, but Chris-Emmanuel Loko popped up deep into stoppage time (90+4’) to snatch a dramatic equaliser.

Sheppey Sports were the most convincing winners of the day, seeing off Bridon Ropes 3–1 to strengthen their position in eighth place — and keep their play-off hopes alive.

An early Joe Skinner strike set the tone before D’Jean Spencer and David Latunde added further goals. Olusegun Akinwunmi pulled one back for Bridon after the break, but it proved little more than a consolation as the visitors remain nervously just one place above the relegation zone.

Lewisham Borough and Lydd Town shared the points at the Ladywell Arena in a result that will do little to ease relegation concerns for either side.

Rob Lawrence fired Lydd ahead midway through the first half, but Lewisham responded quickly after the restart with Shiloh Apena netting the equaliser. With both teams hovering too close to the bottom for comfort, this may feel like two points dropped.

The remaining five fixtures all fell victim to waterlogged pitches.
