PREMIER DIVISION
Holmesdale 1-1 Faversham Strike Force
Larkfield & New Hythe 4-0 Hythe Town
Snodland Town 1-5 Phoenix Sports
Tunbridge Wells 3-0 Kennington
Whitstable Town 0-1 Fisher
Easter Saturday didn’t disappoint — big statements at the top, finality at the bottom, and a few sides hitting form at exactly the right (or wrong) time.
The standout moment came at the summit, where Whitstable Town’s incredible 28-game unbeaten run finally came to an end. Fisher left with a huge 1-0 win thanks to Lorenzo Duncan’s 83rd-minute strike — a result that gives Fisher a massive step towards locking in second place. If they were looking to send a message before the play-offs, that’ll do nicely.
Tunbridge Wells are quietly building something, and their 3-0 win over Kennington keeps them moving in the right direction. Ollie Hyland opened things up just before the break, Daika Montague doubled the advantage moments later, and Regan Corke wrapped it up in the second half. They’re up to 10th now and finishing the season stronger than plenty above them — a case of “where was this earlier?”
The play-off race took a decisive turn at Snodland, and it wasn’t pretty for the hosts. Despite Zak Loveridge pulling one back, Phoenix Sports blew them away with a ruthless first-half display. Khayrie Harris got things going before a quickfire double from Jamarie Brissett put them firmly in control. Goals from Taylor Fisher and Harry Barnes before the break turned it into a rout. It finished 5-1, with Phoenix up to sixth and very much in the mix, while Snodland can probably start planning for next season.
Larkfield & New Hythe strengthened their grip on a top-four spot with a dominant 4-0 win over Hythe Town — a result that also confirms Hythe’s relegation. Kesna Clarke struck twice early on to set the tone, before Courtney Barrington and Matt Day added further gloss. For Larkfield, it’s job done in style. For Hythe, it’s the end of a difficult season that’s been heading this way for a while.
Holmesdale and Faversham Strike Force shared the points in a 1-1 draw, with Harry Taylor giving the visitors the lead before Fynley Rutherford equalised in the second half. It may not have been a headline-grabber, but it could prove significant — that point looks to have nudged Faversham to safety, which, given how tight things have been, they’ll take without hesitation.
With just three Saturdays to go, the promotion picture is sharpening, the play-off race is thinning out, and at the bottom, the trapdoor has claimed another side. No easing off now — it’s full sprint to the finish.
