Saturday proved to be a pivotal afternoon in the Premier Division, with three emphatic 4–1 away wins reshaping both the promotion race and the relegation picture.

The standout result came at Bearsted, where Chislehurst Glebe stunned the title contenders with a ruthless 4–1 victory. Glebe set the tone early through Nathan Mampono inside two minutes, before Yanick Kissi doubled the advantage just before the break. Any hopes of a Bearsted response were quickly snuffed out when Ryan Kelly made it three shortly after the restart, and Jamie Philpot added gloss deep into stoppage time. Jake Embery had pulled one back for the Bears early in the second half, but this was Glebe’s day from start to finish. The result lifts them 11 points clear of danger, while Bearsted remain fourth — but now under serious pressure.

Another statement away performance came from Snodland Town, who powered to a 4–1 win at Holmesdale to move up to fifth. After a tight first half, Matt Self opened the scoring shortly after the interval before an unfortunate own goal doubled the lead. Charlie Sheringham converted from the spot to make it three, and Emmanuel Shoderu sealed it late on. Lewis Heywood-Oriogun grabbed a consolation for Holmesdale, who slip to ninth as Snodland firmly reassert their play-off credentials.

Punjab United also flexed their muscles on the road, storming back to beat Erith & Belvedere 4–1 and move up to sixth. The Deres struck first through Casey Dudley, but Punjab were relentless after the break. Wayne Bushell levelled before quickfire goals from George Monger and Jack Hopkins turned the game on its head, and Chris Edwards completed the scoring. Another reminder that the Vase heroes are very much in the promotion conversation.

At Star Meadow, Hollands & Blair broke Hythe Town hearts with a dramatic stoppage-time winner. Andy Drury’s first match in charge looked set to earn a point, until Callum Flynn struck in the 91st minute to lift Blair up to 12th. For Hythe, it was another crushing blow — now nine points from safety and still searching for that elusive turnaround.

Phoenix Sports and Sutton Athletic shared the spoils in an entertaining 1–1 draw, a result that keeps both just outside the top five. Joshua Williams gave Sutton the lead early on, but Phoenix responded after the break with a superb solo effort from Jamarie Brissett. Neither side made the decisive move, but neither saw their play-off hopes seriously dented either.

The afternoon was rounded off by frustration elsewhere, as waterlogged pitches forced the postponements of Rusthall v Stansfeld and Tunbridge Wells v Kennington.

Big wins, big swings, and the table continues to tighten. February is shaping up nicely.
