After Friday night gets the Bank Holiday weekend underway, attention turns to a busy Saturday afternoon with seven more SCEFL Premier Division fixtures.

There are some fascinating contests across the division, with several of the early front-runners in action and plenty of opportunities for movement in the table.

Kennington welcome Tunbridge Wells in one of the standout fixtures of the afternoon. Kennington climbed to fourth following last weekend’s impressive 4-1 victory at Larkfield & New Hythe and remain unbeaten in the league. Wells sit just behind them after finding the net ten times in their opening three games, six of those coming in their emphatic victory over Chislehurst Glebe.

Petts Wood & Holmesdale have also made an excellent start and travel to Rusthall looking to maintain their 100% league record. Two wins from two have taken them to second in the early table, while the Rustics will be looking for a response after their midweek defeat at Corinthian.

Larkfield & New Hythe have the opportunity to bounce back when they host SE Dons. The Larks won their opening two league games but have since suffered successive defeats against Hollands & Blair and Kennington. SE Dons, meanwhile, have had a disrupted start to Premier Division life due to their cup commitments and will be looking to make the most of a return to league action.

Faversham Strike Force host AFC Greenwich Borough in another meeting involving one of the Premier Division newcomers. Strike Force have collected four points from their opening three games, while last season’s First Division champions Greenwich Borough remain unbeaten after taking four points from their first two.

At Star Meadow, Hollands & Blair entertain Erith & Belvedere. Blair picked up their first victory of the season with an impressive 2-0 win over Larkfield & New Hythe, while the Deres make the trip looking for their first league points after a recent narrow defeat at Petts Wood & Holmesdale.

Fisher head to Chislehurst Glebe having produced one of the performances of the season so far in their 6-2 victory over Phoenix Sports. Glebe will be determined to respond after suffering a heavy defeat at Tunbridge Wells in their last league outing.

The remaining fixture sees Snodland Town host Corinthian. Snodland have taken four points from their opening three games, while Corinthian remain unbeaten and arrive on the back of a 2-0 victory over Rusthall.

With Friday night’s two fixtures followed by another seven on Saturday, the Premier Division table could look very different by the end of the weekend – and that’s before another full programme arrives on Bank Holiday Monday.

All Saturday fixtures kick off at 3pm, with score updates available throughout the afternoon via our Football Web Pages links.
