Saturday 24th January
PREMIER DIVISION
Chislehurst Glebe 1-5 Faversham Strike Force
Larkfield & New Hythe 2-3 Corinthian
Snodland Town 7-2 Hythe Town
Stansfeld 2-3 Tunbridge Wells
Whitstable Town 1-1 Phoenix Sports
A trimmed-down fixture list still delivered full-scale chaos, with heavy defeats, late drama and serious movement at both ends of the Premier Division table.
Chislehurst Glebe 1–5 Faversham Strike Force
What a turnaround. Faversham Strike Force tore up the form book and then some, smashing five past Glebe to end an eight-game winless run in emphatic style. Goals from Mefose Esumobi, Marshall Wratten, Josh Oliver and a brace from Ali Wren blew the game apart and flipped the table as the two sides swapped places. Glebe, buoyant just days ago, were left shell-shocked by a ruthless display from a side fighting for its life.
Larkfield & New Hythe 2–3 Corinthian
Another seismic result. Corinthian landed a huge blow in their survival push with a dramatic late winner at Larkfield. Jake Williams put the visitors ahead early in the second half before Tom Mitcham struck twice, the second coming four minutes from time, to stun the hosts. Larkfield had led at the break through Kesna Clarke and thought they had salvaged something when Tunde Aderonmu scored deep into stoppage time — but Corinthian held on for a priceless three points.
Snodland Town 7–2 Hythe Town
Absolute mayhem at Snodland. Chris Alhassan was unstoppable, firing a hat-trick — including two penalties — before Charlie Sheringham added a brace, with Nathaniel Olawole and Venceslas Bola also getting in on the act. The 7–2 demolition lifts Snodland back into the play-off places. For Hythe, it was a nightmare afternoon that sends them bottom of the table on goal difference, their situation looking increasingly bleak.
Stansfeld 2–3 Tunbridge Wells
More heartbreak for Stansfeld, who showed real fight but still came away empty-handed. Glen Bain opened the scoring before Wells responded after the break through Regan Corke and Muiz Alaka. Macey Malyon briefly raised hopes for the hosts, but Christian Lawal’s late strike sealed it for Tunbridge Wells, who climb to 12th and remain within touching distance of the play-off pack. Stansfeld’s wait for a win goes on.
Whitstable Town 1–1 Phoenix Sports
The leaders were made to work hard as Phoenix Sports continued their impressive run. Phoenix struck first through Will Efambe on the hour, before Whitstable hit back just five minutes later with a controversial equaliser from Joe Healy. Whitstable extend their unbeaten run but miss the chance to stretch their lead further, while Phoenix can take real encouragement from taking points off the league leaders.
Goals everywhere, tables flipped, and pressure cranked up another notch. If this is what a “quiet” weekend looks like, the run-in is going to be carnage.
