Easter Monday had everything — goals, red cards, confirmed fates, and a title celebration to round it all off.
At the Belmont, Whitstable Town signed off their title-winning campaign in style with a 3-1 win over Hythe Town, before lifting the trophy in front of a crowd of 772. After a frustrating afternoon on Saturday, this was the response they wanted. Finn O’Mara struck twice late on (76’, 90+2’) with Bradley Schafer also on target (87’), while Blu Husthwaite briefly gave Hythe hope in between (81’). The visitors, already relegated, played their part with a spirited display — but this was always Whitstable’s day.
Fisher continue to look nailed on for second after a dominant 4-1 win over Stansfeld, a result that confirms the visitors’ relegation. Festos Kamara (11’), Tom Jones (28’) and Alex Kozak (35’) had the job virtually done by half-time, with Armani-Jordan Martin adding a late fourth (87’). Jack Calvert’s goal (82’) was little more than a consolation on a tough day for Stansfeld.
In the race for the play-offs, Bearsted showed character to edge a 3-2 win over Faversham Strike Force. Sam Stace (19’) levelled for the Bears afetr Jack Smith opened the scoring (10’) earlier for the visitors, and after a tense second half Danny Keyte (80’) and Jordan Ababio (87’) struck decisive blows. Josh Oliver’s late goal (90’) ensured a nervy finish, but Bearsted held on. Faversham, though, can breathe easy — results elsewhere confirm their safety.
Larkfield & New Hythe remain fourth after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Kennington. Fin Dent had put the hosts ahead early (12’), but Kesna Clarke (40’) and Jahmal Howlett-Mundle (45+1’) turned it around before the break in a result that could prove massive in the final reckoning.
Rusthall strengthened their grip on a top-five spot with a 2-1 win at Tunbridge Wells in a fiercely contested derby. Jack Kirby (12’) and Louie Clarke (53’) put the visitors in control before Ollie Hyland pulled one back late on (86’). For Wells, it feels like the door to the play-offs is now almost shut.
Phoenix Sports are still very much in the hunt after a 3-1 win over Chislehurst Glebe. Kieron McCann (18’) and a brace from the in-form Midfielder Jensen Grant (28’, 60’) did the damage, despite Jamarie Brissett seeing red on 35 minutes. Frankie Sawyer pulled one back for Glebe (57’), but Phoenix held firm and continue to apply pressure from sixth.
Hollands & Blair also remain firmly in contention after a convincing 3-0 win at Snodland Town. Charlie Weston (10’) set the tone before Kane Rowland doubled the lead from the spot (49’) and Gil Carvalho added a third (54’). Blair sit seventh and still dreaming — Snodland, meanwhile, are now out of the running.
Punjab United kept their hopes alive with a strong 3-0 win at Sutton Athletic. Harry Ottaway opened the scoring just before the break (45+2’), and Jack Hopkins took over from there with a second-half double (47’, 70’). Both sides remain in the mix, though time is starting to run out.
Finally, Corinthian ended Erith & Belvedere’s slim play-off hopes with a 2-0 win, in a game that turned just before half-time. Scott Jarvis saw red for the hosts on 43 minutes, and Olu Adegbehingbe struck moments later (44’) to seize control. Harrison Fryer wrapped it up deep into stoppage time (90+3’).
So, Whitstable celebrate, Fisher tighten their grip on second, and Stansfeld join Hythe in relegation. But the real chaos? That play-off race — still wide open, still unpredictable, and now heading into the final stretch with very little margin for error.
