Kennington squad commits for Premier Division season
Dan Scorer has secured the services of all of his promotion-winning squad, as Kennington go about tackling the SCEFL Premier Division.
Amongst them, club captain and experienced midfielder, Gary Clarke; goalkeeper, Joe Mant, talisman, Gary Lockyer, and influential attacker, Callum Peck.
Scorer said: “I’m delighted to be welcoming back all of last season’s squad. There has been plenty of attraction towards a number of them, but I’m really pleased that everyone has committed to the club.
“We have an incredible array of quality in the dressing room, and there is still plenty of potential for this group of players to progress and move the club further forward.
“Callum Peck and Robbie Dolan were brilliant additions to the group last season, and I really feel that after settling into the squad, they will both play a big part in any success moving forward.
“Then there’s the likes of Gary Clarke, Joe Mant and Gary Lockyer, all of whom have step five experience, which will be crucial for us.”
In the week before the season starts Kennington have added 3 further players to their squad.
“After featuring in pre-season, we’re delighted to announce the signings of goalkeeper, Sam Hignett, defender Matt Kirby & striker Noah Carney.”
