Welling Town – Summer Updates

Updates from Welling Town ahead of the 2024/25 season start.

Management Team – 2024/25
“Ahead of the new season our management team for 24/25 has been confirmed as Kevin Oakes, Ashley King, Pete Berridge, and, Ryan Pay.
Ashley King joins us having previously been with Cannons Wood, Haringey Borough under 23s, Barkingside, Barking and Fisher.
Pete Berridge arrives having recently left Bridon Ropes and has excellent knowledge of the SCEFL First Division as a result. He was a big part of Bridon’s improved showing in the second half of 23/24. With a long stint in the British Army positioned in Germany, he worked as a goalkeeping coach in the Bundesliga and can count Werder Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover 96 as former employers.
Ryan Pay has previously managed at Larkfield and New Hythe helping to setup their new under 23 side, before moving on to Faversham Town under 23s, having previously been part of the management team at the very successful Erith and Belvedere under 18 side.”

“Welcome back, top stopper, Jack Rankin – previously a winner of SCEFL Div One with K Sports. 33apps last season!”

“WELCOME BACK – 26 appearances last season at Step 5, most at just 17 years of age. Another season ahead. Welcome back Luke Hearn!”
