Wednesday 1st April
FIRST DIVISION
Chessington & Hook v Greenways
Tooting Bec v Halls AFC
Wednesday night offers a split bill in the First Division, with one game packed with pressure and the other more about pride and positioning.
At the bottom, Chessington & Hook are running out of road. Ten points adrift and firmly in must-win territory, anything less than three points against Greenways could all but seal their fate. The visitors, though, have their own ambitions—sitting nine points off the play-offs with games in hand, this is realistically their last chance to keep that dream alive. Expect urgency from both, and probably a few nerves too.
Elsewhere, it’s a calmer affair as Tooting Bec host Halls in a mid-table clash. There’s no immediate danger, but plenty still to play for in terms of a top-half finish. Tooting, in particular, know a win would all but guarantee safety and let them finish the season with a bit of momentum—always nicer than limping over the line.
Both matches kick off at 7:45pm.
