SC Thamesmead today begin the search for a new First Team Manager following the departure of Jason Long.
Long had lead the Acre to a 4th placed position when the season was brought to an early halt in March.
He had been in the hot seat since the previous year when taking over the job from Joe Ford.
Commenting on our Instagram page Long said: “Very grateful for the opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed managing a great group of lads. I hope the club continue to do big things when the season kicks off again. I look forward to be back in the game in the future once all the uncertainty settles.”
The club have thanked Jason Long for all his efforts last season, and since joining the club two years ago.
“We are sad to see him leave us and wish him well.”
SC Thamesmead are now seeking applicants for the managers role, those interested please email the Chairman at email@example.com
