Whitstable Town stretched their remarkable run to 20 league games unbeaten and moved another step closer to the title with a dramatic late victory over Erith & Belvedere. The visitors led through Ryan Fowler’s 23rd-minute opener and looked set to take the points, but Whitstable produced a stunning stoppage-time turnaround. Joe Healy struck in the third minute of added time before Dean Grant completed the comeback two minutes later to seal a 2-1 win. The leaders now hold an 18-point advantage with eight games remaining and need just three more victories to secure the trophy.
Second-placed Fisher strengthened their grip on the top play-off spot with a dominant 5-0 win at Holmesdale, doing most of the damage in a blistering first-half display. Lorenzo Duncan stole the show with a hat-trick inside the opening 40 minutes, scoring in the 9th, 32nd and 40th minutes, before Alex Kozak added a fourth in first-half stoppage time. Festos Kamara rounded things off late on to complete an emphatic afternoon for the visitors.
Elsewhere among the play-off chasers there were tight encounters across the board. Bearsted and in-form Hollands & Blair shared the points in a 2-2 draw, with Jack Palmby and Sam Flisher on target for the Bears while Dieko Falade and Luke Exall replied for Blair. Phoenix Sports continued their late surge with a 2-1 win at Larkfield & New Hythe thanks to a brace from Jamarie Brissett, stretching their unbeaten run to ten matches. Tyler Ibe’s late penalty gave the hosts hope but the Larks’ winless run now stands at seven games.
Punjab United claimed a 2-1 home win over Faversham Strike Force with early goals from Roman Campbell and Will Johnson-Cole proving decisive despite a Josh Oliver reply. Sutton Athletic also secured a 2-1 victory, coming from behind to beat Snodland Town through Conor Evans and Omotunmise Akanni after Sam Wood had given the visitors the lead. Corinthian and Rusthall shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, the hosts fighting back in the second half through Tom Mitcham and Jamie Billings after first-half goals from Charlie Clover and Thompson Adeyemi had put the Rustics in control.
At the bottom end, time is running out for Stansfeld after a 1-0 home defeat to Chislehurst Glebe. Division top scorer Jamie Philpot settled the contest with a 75th-minute penalty, leaving Stansfeld ten points from safety with nine games to play while Glebe edge ever closer to securing their status. Meanwhile,
Tunbridge Wells’ meeting with Hythe Town was postponed once again due to a waterlogged pitch.
