An action-packed afternoon in the SCEFL First Division delivered goals, movement at both ends of the table and just the one draw.

Leaders Rochester United bounced back to winning ways as Luis Dos Santos’ goal proved decisive in a hard-fought 1–0 victory at Tooting Bec, keeping them out in front.

AFC Greenwich Borough surged back into second place in emphatic style, dismantling Welling Town 7–0. Oghosa Williams stole the headlines with a four-goal haul in a ruthless attacking display.

FC Elmstead’s strong form continued as they swept aside struggling Lydd Town 5–0, while Staplehurst Monarchs made it back-to-back wins with a 2–1 success over bottom side Chessington & Hook.

There was a landmark moment for SC Thamesmead, who claimed their first home league win of the season with a 3–1 victory against Halls AFC. Sheppey Sports also enjoyed a productive afternoon, coming out on top in a 3–2 win away at sixth-placed Greenways.

At the other end of the table, Banstead Athletic climbed out of the drop zone thanks to a vital 1–0 win over Croydon.

The only stalemate of the day came at Bridon Ropes, where the hosts and Lewisham Borough shared the points in an entertaining 2–2 draw.
