Rochester United announce 2021/22 Season Squad
Rochester United have begun to announce the make up of their 2021/22 Squad.
The Spartans will be keen to again compete for promotion this year and by the looks of these announcements they are looking well placed to do just that.
◊ “We are delighted to announce that club captain Tony Whitaker has re-signed for the 2021-22 season. Tony holds great leadership abilities and is pivotal for our team both on and off the pitch.”
◊ “We are pleased to announce that Lewis Cook has put pen to paper for the upcoming season, he has also been named Vice captain. Cook has strength & tenacity in abundance, his presence will be a huge asset to the Spartans Defence!
◊ “We are delighted to announce that our number 1 – Ben Nourse will remain in between the sticks at Rede Court Rd this year. Ben is a sensational shot stopper who’s positioning and distribution are second to none.”
◊ “We are delighted to announce that Tom Webb has committed to the Spartans for the 2021/22 season. Tom is a versatile defender who has arguably been our most consistent player over the past few seasons, a huge asset to the team!”
◊ “We are pleased to announce that winger, Henry Arnold has signed for the upcoming season. Previous clubs include Ramsgate, South Park & Gillingham. Henry possesses an abundance of speed & technical ability that will bolster our attack.”
◊ “We are delighted to announce that Max Ciano has signed the dotted line for the 2021/2022 season.
Max has played a vital role in the previous two seasons with his experience and presence both on and off the pitch!”
◊ “We are pleased to announce that our current longest serving player, John Brown has put pen to paper for the upcoming season. John possesses copious amounts agility & speed which will be a huge boost to our artillery this year!”
◊ “We are delighted to announce that Rex Ejinonyeabala has committed to the Spartans for the 2021/22 season. Rex is a midfield engine that can run the show on the ball and read between the lines to break down attacks.”
◊ “We are pleased to announce that exciting winger Charlie Dale has signed for the upcoming season. Charlie, product of the Maidstone Utd academy has an eye for goal, blistering pace & ball control that will give defenders nightmares!”
◊ “We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Liam Wilkins for the 21/22 Campaign! Liam has impressed whilst on trial with his speed & decision making, former clubs include Snodland & Maidstone Utd under 23’s.”
◊ “We are pleased to announce that Harrison Hume has signed the dotted line for the upcoming season. Central midfielder has an abundance of technical ability & his composure on the ball will be vital once again this year! “
