Punjab United – Summer Updates

 

Updates from Punjab United ahead of the 2024/25 season start…

 

“We start off our season at home as we take on Step 4 side Sheppey United followed by the upcoming Tuesday where we take on SCEFL Division 1 side Bridon Ropes, managed by Lee Roots, a good friend of ours. It’s then the big one as we take on Ebbsfleet United in our annual encounter where we know the attendance will be high. Following that, Sporting Khalsa make the journey down to Gravesend as the bragging rights for the best British-Sikh club continues. Finally, we make the trip to Essex as we encounter Barking before we start the main season!”

Thursday 11th July 2024 – Ebbsfleet United (H) 7:45pm KO
Saturday 13th July 2024 – Sporting Khalsa (H) 3:00pm KO
Saturday 20th July 2024 – Barking (A) 3:00pm KO

 

“We’re delighted to announce that Reece Deakin has mutually agreed terms to join Punjab United for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Reece is an attacker who can play on the wing as well as striker and his goal record has proven why he will be a crucial player for us this season.”

“Punjab United are delighted to announce that Hudson Scudder will be staying at the club for the 2024/25 season.
The young winger joined the club from our NTC Academy side in July and made his first-team debut in pre-season against Ebbsfleet United. Since then, he has accumulated 32 appearances for the club scoring twice in matches against Cray Valley PM and VCD Athletic.”

“Punjab United are delighted to announce that Jack Hopkins will be staying at the club for the 2024/25 season.
The experienced midfielder signed for us from Phoenix Sports in December where he made his debut for us in the SCEFL Challenge Cup against Holmesdale FC. Since then, he has accumulated 21 appearances for the club scoring twice in matches against Whitstable Town and Fisher FC.”

“Punjab United are delighted to announce the signing of Toib Adeyemi. The defender has had a recent spell for us playing against Deal Town and Lordswood where we respectively won 2-1 and 4-1 with Toib scoring the first goal against Lordswood. Before then, he’s played for a number of essex based sides, including Braintree Town, Bishop Stortford, Heybridge Swifts, Bowers & Pitsea, Hullbridge & New Salamis.”

“We’re delighted to announce that Tunde Aderonmu will be back with Punjab for the 2024/25 season!
Tunde joins back after an unfortunate injury last season.”

Owen & Wayne stay after both breaking into the first-team last season!”

“We’re delighted to announce that Neil Spencer will be staying with Punjab for the 2024/25 season!
Neil stays after making 13 appearances last season.”

“We’re delighted to announce that Jordan Campbell will be back with Punjab for the 2024/25 season!
Jordan stays after making 32 appearances last season.”
