SCEFL Fixtures Released

The wait is over! The opening fixtures for the 2026/27 Southern Counties East Football League season have now been released, bringing the new campaign one step closer.

Both divisions get underway under the Friday night lights before a full programme of Saturday fixtures.

The Premier Division kicks off on Friday 31st July, with Erith & Belvedere welcoming newcomers AFC Greenwich Borough in the opening match of the season, before the remaining eight fixtures take place on Saturday 1st August.

A week later, it is the turn of the First Division, with SC Thamesmead hosting Stansfeld on Friday 7th August, ahead of a full round of fixtures on Saturday 8th August.

August promises to be a busy month across the league. Alongside plenty of league action, clubs will also begin their Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Vase campaigns. The Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup takes place on 8th August, followed by the Preliminary Round on 22nd August, while the FA Vase gets underway on 15th August.

The Bank Holiday weekend rounds off a packed opening month, with many clubs facing two league fixtures over the long weekend. The action begins on Friday 28th August, when Beckenham Town travel to Phoenix Sports in another Friday night encounter.

Beckenham Town’s return to the SCEFL Premier Division promises to be an entertaining one. They begin their campaign at home to Hollands & Blair, before concluding August with a trip to Chislehurst Glebe.

Fellow Premier Division newcomers AFC Greenwich Borough start life at Step 5 with a run of away fixtures while work continues at their new home. Their first home league fixture is scheduled for 15th September, when Phoenix Sports are the visitors.

SE Dons also embark on their first Premier Division campaign this season. They open away at Kennington before welcoming Sutton Athletic for their first home league fixture on 15th August.

In the First Division, Minster begin their first-ever season in the National League System by hosting Croydon on the opening day. Their early fixtures also include home games against Tooting Bec and Greenways,  following a trip to Lydd Town.

To allow clubs to begin planning while a small number of scheduling matters are finalised, the League has initially released the first three months of Premier Division fixtures and the opening two months of the First Division campaign. The remaining fixtures will be published shortly.
