Whyteleafe only lost four league games in the 2013-14 season and one of them came today as title rivals Ashford United beat them 2-1 at Homelands. It was not enough to disrupt Whyteleafe though as they went on to finish 11 points clear at the top the table by the end of the campaign.
Canterbury City were the biggest winners on this day, overcoming Lordswood 5-2 at Winch’s Field while the only drawn game came at Woodstock Park, with hosts sharing the points with Corinthian.

Croydon 1-2 Canterbury City

Just the one game on this Wednesday night in 2017 and it came in the Premier Division between Croydon and Canterbury City.
Jeff Duah-Kessie put the Trams ahead just after the break but City came back strong, Gary Clarke netted twice and the visitors took the points.
Canterbury would finish the season in 9th place, two positions ahead of tonight’s hosts.
