Beckenham Town 4-3 Greenwich Borough

There was plenty of goals around on this Tuesday night in the first SCEFL season back in 2014. Cray Valley got 4 of them, as did Beckenham Town, who needed them against Greenwich Borough. Corinthian and Phoenix Sports decided to not trouble the vidiprinter too much, playing out a goalless draw.

Whitstable Town 1-1 Tunbridge Wells

4 years ago today Deal Town were the biggest winners in the Premier Division as they beat struggling Erith & Belvedere 6-0. Joe Anderson scored twice for the Hoops, with Connor Coyne, Harry Alexander, Ryan Philpott and Charlie Walsh getting the others.
Beckenham Town, Canterbury City and Bearsted all won 3-0 while eventual runners-up, Crowborough Athletic, picked up a 2-1 victory.
Warren Mfula was on target as AFC Croydon won at Corinthian and Gary Lockyer hit a first minute opener as Hollands & Blair overcame Rochester United.
Whitstable Town’s 1-1 draw with Tunbridge Wells saw Charlie Smith equalise a Jamie Lawrence penalty.

Gravesham Borough 0 – 0 Meridian VP
K Sports 6 – 2 Lewisham Borough
Kent Football United 0 – 2 Sutton Athletic
Orpington 1 – 3 Glebe
Rusthall 6 – 0 SC Thamesmead
Stansfeld 1 – 1 Snodland Town

There were goals galore in the First Division on this day in 2017.
Rusthall got 6 of them with Chris Stoate claiming two, K Sports also scored 6, with Caine Smith netting 3!
On their way to the title Glebe beat Orpington 3-1 and there was a win for Sutton Athletic, 2-0 at Kent Football.
Marcus Black scored a double in a 2-2 draw for FC Elmstead against Crockenhill, while Stansfeld also shared the points with Snodland Town. Ryan Hassan and Dave Sherwood with the goals at Foxbury.
Lydd Town were narrow winners at Forest Hill Park, Dave Bass with the solitary strike, and there was a rare goalless game between Gravesham Borough and Meridian VP.

Kiki Oshilaja and Steve Townsend got the goals for Beckenham Town in a game held on this day, just 3 weeks before the season was brought to an abrupt halt last year.
Chatham Town ran riot at Park View Road with Jack Evans claiming a hat-trick and Ryan Palmer scoring 4!
Sheppey United held off a late fightback from Canterbury City to take the points in a 7-goal thriller.
