March closed out with a busy schedule of SCEFL fixtures as the title races hotted up in each Division.
In the Premier, Deal Town were the biggest winners, claiming a comfortable 5-1 victory at Erith Town with Charlie Walsh netting a double.
Ashford United were the true big winners of the day though as a Rory Hill hat-trick helped them to a 3-1 win over title rivals Crowborough Athletic. The Nuts & Bolts would top the table by just 2 points over the Crows at the end of the season, showing how vital the 3 points earned today really were.
A Tom Bryant double saw Whitstable Town win at Bearsted and Cray Valley won by that same score against Corinthian thanks to quickfire goals from Ashley Sains and Jason Thompson.
Warren Mfula scored twice as AFC Croydon beat Erith & Belvedere and Jeff Duah-Kessie also notched two to help Croydon defeat Tunbridge Wells.
Arlie Desanges got the only goal in a Sheppey United win at Hollands & Blair while Lordswood v Sevenoaks Town and Fisher v Canterbury both finished level.

In the First Division, leaders Glebe closed in on the title thanks to a 2-1 win at home to Sutton Athletic. Charlie McCarthy and Aaron Jeffrey would get the goals for Adam Woodward’s side who would go on to lift the top prize just a few weeks later.
Joe Fuller scored 2 of Rusthall’s 4 at K Sports while Snodland Town also won 4-1, with Dave Sherwood among the scorers against Phoenix Sports Reserves.
Dexter Babalola got both of the FC Elmstead goals at Forest Hill Park, Danny Gannon and Reggie Yembra were on target in a Holmesdale win and Alex Chambers netted the only goal as Orpington beat Kent Football United.
Chas Davis and Chris Johnston earned Meridian VP 3 points at home to Crockenhill and Bryan Zepo scored twice as his Lewisham Borough side drew at Gravesham Borough.
