New arrivals at Wells ahead of season start

 

Tunbridge Wells have announced a couple of new signings a few weeks out from the start of the 2021/22 Premier Division campaign.

The club have performed well in both disrupted seasons and will be looking to be involved in the mix for promotion again when things get going again on 31st July.

To help them achieve their aims they have brought in Matt Gething and Jordan Johnson.

Striker Gething, arrives at the Culverden most recently from Hollands & Blair, where he scored 3 times in the last shortened season, and previously to that had been at K Sports for a number of years.

Jordan Johnson is a central midfielder that can count Herne Bay, Glebe, East Grinstead and Ashford United among his former clubs.

‘Lefty’ is also well known for playing for Sunday side ‘SE Dons’ where footage of their games get seen by tens of thousands of people.

Wells boss Richard Styles has signed impressively with these two and may well add to his ranks with further promising additions soon.

Tunbridge Wells get their season underway on 31st July when Sheppey United come to town.
