Hard work pays off for Larkfield

Following the news that Larkfield & New Hythe were promoted into the SCEFL First Division today, they announced the news in this post on their Social Media:

Today we are really excited to announce the FA have confirmed that Larkfield & New Hythe FC have been awarded a place in the Southern Counties East Football League (SCEFL) Division 1 for the season 2021/22.

Co-Chairman Lawrence Coppen said, “There has been great improvements in the Football Club over the past 18 months and its great everybody’s hard work has been rewarded. We now have a fantastic ground with an excellent pitch, and the Community of Larkfield will have the opportunity to share in our journey as we progress on the pitch and continue to enhance our stadium”

Co-Chairman John Michel said, “This is fantastic news for the club. We will be playing at our highest level as we enter our 60th year. The addition of new stands and FloodLights has made this all possible and I can’t thank enough our Primary sponsor ‘Taray Group’, without which this would not have been possible. I’m really looking forward to the new season and welcoming as many old and new faces to our Community Stadium.
