Sutton Athletic 2-1 Larkfield & New Hythe
Sutton Athletic are promoted to the SCEFL Premier Division following their dramatic extra-time win over Larkfield & New Hythe today.
The Sutts led at the break through the Division’s Golden Boot winner Arlie Desanges.
Larkfield, who missed a First half penalty, were then awarded another spot kick in the 65th minute – which they once again missed – this time, however the rebound was smashed home by Hicham Akhazzan.
With the scores level after 90 minutes the game went to extra time where Billy Muckle earned Sutton promotion with a stunning left footed volley.
Sutton Athletic will now join Stansfeld as the two promoted teams to join the Premier Division for the 2022/23 Season.
