The FA have today updated us with further guidelines regarding the sale of Food and Drink at all SCEFL grounds.
To: All Step 3 – 6 Leagues of the National League System
You may be aware that the Government issued an update to some of its guidance in Tiers 1 & 2 in that food and drink in Sports Stadia can be purchased for consumption at your seat.
We have had confirmation that this is referencing sports stadia who are under Stage 5 Protocols in Elite Sport and is not for application at Steps 3-6.
Non-elite sport should continue to follow the guidance which is available here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/restaurants-offering-takeaway-or-delivery
Clubs are strongly advised to liaise with their local authority/licensing officer to understand how the hospitality guidance will be applied to their club by their local authority for example on agreed protocols on takeaway for consumption at the venue.
“We continue to work and have dialogue with DCMS and Government officials on these issues which we have stressed are important to clubs in the NLS. Should there be any changes to the guidance on this matter, the FA will issue a further update.
