Erith & Belvedere updates – 2022/23
Erith & Belvedere have been busy preparing for the 2022/23 season and have provided these updates on events at the Club.
– We are delighted to announce that our new Manager for the 2022/23 season will be Tony Beckingham, he will be assisted by Andy Constable and Tony Cornwell.
– The club are delighted to announce its first signing of the season as we welcome Kellie Discipline back to the club as Vice President – Kellie has had a long 30 year career in football and has pioneered the path for women wanting to get involved in football.
– The club are very pleased to announce Sam Woods on to the board of directors. Sam is a very passionate and motivated guy and has been a avid supporter and sponsor of the club the last couple of seasons and can’t wait to join the project. Sam is the current CEO of Acclaim Handling.
– We are delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Huckle on a 1 year contract. Ryan, 22, is a strong and combative central defender / defensive midfielder that will add size and presence to the Dere’s side. Huckle had six years at Gillingham Academy.
– Signed, Sealed, Delivered… next in.. We are delighted to announce the signing of Winger/Striker Malachi Hudson, he has previously played for Walton Casuals, Welling United, Kingstonian and Greenwich Borough and will add a real pace and flair to the Dere’s forward line.
– We welcome Adam Molloy to the club. Adam brings over 13 years experience playing at various levels of Non-League since the age of 16. He started his youth ranks being on the books at West Ham and even represented England at U18 Schoolboy Level. A Quadruple winner last year for Sheppey United. A superb goalkeeper who kept 24 clean sheets last season and was nominated for Step 5 Goalkeeper of the year.
– Joining the Dere’s we welcome Ben Wilson back to the club. The defender, who can fill in at left-back and centre-back is a fantastic addition with lots of experience in the Isthmian League. A great character and his second spell at the club.
– We are pleased to confirm the signing of Tom Carlton a very talented midfielder who played youth and academy football at Chelsea, West Ham and Colchester before initially joining Herne Bay in 2017. Further spells at Hythe Town and Whitstable Town… but now officially a Dere.
– We delighted to announce Jack Miles to the club. A commanding central defender who made over 200 appearances for his hometown club Sevenoaks Town whilst playing in the Southern Counties East and Isthmian Leagues.
– The club are delighted to announce striker Max Morgan has signed for the club. Max is a pacey forward with an eye for goal who can play centrally or on either flank. His last club was Sheppey, previous clubs include Faversham, Holmesdale and K Sports.
– Erith & Belvedere are delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Johnson. The central defender joins The Dere’s having made 52 appearances for Folkestone Invicta last season just missing out on promotion.
– The Dere’s are delighted to sign central midfielder George Monger.
The 27 year old central midfielder has featured just under 150 times for Faversham Town FC and was part of Dartford’s academy as a youngster before making the jump to the first team.
He has also played for Ramsgate FC and Whitstable Town. George is a fantastic addition to the Dere’s squad and will add quality to the midfield.
– The Dere’s are delighted that striker Tunde Aderonmu has signed for 2022/23.
Tunde is a proven forward at this level and will add to our talented squad, a league winner for Beckenham Town last year finishing the season with 25 goals.
– The Dere’s are delighted to sign attacking Midfielder Luke Carey.
Luke was a product of the Charlton Athletic academy from u9’s before signing a professional deal. Subsequently has had spells at Margate, Ramsgate and most recently played for Sheppey United.
– We welcome back Nad Nwitua and Kameiko Pope-Campbell for second spells at the club. Both fantastic additions to the Dere’s 2022/23 Squad and ones that will give the fans something to smile about with unfinished business – once a Dere always a Dere
– We are delighted to Welcome Rory Ward to the club.
Rory is a versatile attacking midfielder who joins from Holmesdale FC after a very successful season that saw him score 10 goals and scoop the player of year award. Welcome to the club Rory
– We are delighted to announce the signing of striker George Purcell.
The former Gillingham Under-18s player’s career has seen him play in non-league’s top two tiers with spells at the likes of York City, Dartford, Ebbsfleet United and Eastbourne Borough.
But it is his time at AFC Hornchurch that he is perhaps best known, holding the title of the 2005 reformed Upminster club’s record goalscorer with 150 in 288 appearances. He is also fondly remembered by Ebbsfleet fans for being part of their FA Trophy-winning side in 2007/08
