A new home for Elmstead

FC Elmstead will have a new home for the 2026/27 season after agreeing a groundshare with Tonbridge Angels at the Yeomans Community Stadium, Longmead.

The First Division side, who finished 7th last season, will play their home fixtures at Longmead on Saturdays when the Angels’ Men’s First Team are away, while also using the venue for Wednesday evening training sessions.

Elmstead replace Ide Hill as tenants at the ground ahead of the new campaign.

Tonbridge Angels Chair Sophie Purves welcomed the arrangement, saying the club were looking forward to hosting “a very well established club with a good following” during the upcoming season.

FC Elmstead’s management team of Brehn Chidley, Billy Reynolds, Luke Snazel and Jordan Reynolds will now prepare for the move as the club looks to continue its progress both on and off the pitch.

Chidley described the agreement as “a very exciting time ahead for FC Elmstead”, adding that the facilities at Longmead could help the club “get a little closer to step five” during the 2026/27 season
