This is how the SCEFL website reported the action from today…

Greenwich Borough maintained their one-point lead at the top as they put AFC Croydon Athletic‘s Rams to the slaughter. Goals from Ryan Dolby and Tom Youngs and a penalty conversion by Michael Power gave Borough a 0-3 half time lead. After the break Power grabbed a second, a 4th for Borough before Mo Eisa and Cisco Mbele wrapped things up with a goal apiece. The Rams are now in 8th place.

Hollands & Blair kept in touch by winning this best-of-five encounter at Canterbury City. Blair took the lead when top gun James McDonald netted the only first half goal after 12 minutes. Rob Lawrence pulled City level after 65 minutes with a goal which justified the way the play was going but, 5 minutes later, McDonald doubled his and Blair’s tally to retake the lead. Rob’s brother and City skipper equalised again on 73 minutes, once again City’s play fully justified them being level but within 4 minutes Brett Ince again restored the Blair one goal lead. City battled on and Blair kept looking to extend but in the end both teams had to settle for the score as it was. City drop a place to 11th.

Ashford United remain in 3rd place until Monday when 10 points will be deducted from their total. The Nuts & Bolts, who are all aware of the coming penalty, played with the same resolve as if they were still snapping at the heels of the top two as they won at Corinthian. The Hoops went 1-0 up after 26 minutes through Michael Hagan’s goal but, within 4 minutes, Ashford were level through Shaun Welford. The final goal came from Ryan Palmer one minute before the break. The Hoops drop a place to 5th.

Lordswood move up to 4th after a best-of-three win at Croydon. Brima Daramy gave the Lords the lead after 16 minutes then, with just 5 minutes of the game remaining Nick Whybrow made it 0-2. Tony Halsey scored for the Trams in the final minute. Trams drop a place to 18th.

Beckenham Town move up to 6th place after winning by the only goal to nil at Fisher.
Frankie Warren was the lone scorer in the 21st minute. The Fish drop to 15th.

Sevenoaks Town move up a place to 7th after this home win against Cray Valley PM. An Adam Marsh brace in the first 26 minutes gave the Oaks a 2-0 lead which Marcus Elliott reduced by 1 before half time. Kieron McCann grabbed a 3rd Oaks goal 3 minutes from full time. The Millers are in 9th place tonight.

Crowborough Athletic travelled to play bottom side Holmesdale and came away 0-2 winners to put them into 10th place. No goals in the first half but Callum Ridley hit the first just after the hour mark and Gianfranco Mici hit the 2nd 5 minutes from full time.

Erith & Belvedere remain in 12th place despite losing to a single goal at home to Rochester United. Steve Rothery was that lone scorer in the 8th minute. The Spartans move up to 16th place.

Erith Town found them selves 0-1 down at half time after Deal Town‘s Connor Coyne scored in the 21st minute. Hassan Nalbant levelled the scores just before the hour mark but Andy Miller restored the Deal lead in the 79th minute. Rene Rivera finished off with his 82 minute 3rd Deal goal. The sides swap places in the table with Deal in 13th and the Dockers in 14th.
