Improvements at Meridian Sports & Social Club

Meridian Sports & Social Club were successful in winning a funding package from The London Marathon Trust recently, and if there is any good news to be had at the moment it’s that the early shutdown of the playing season has enabled the Club’s contractor to carry out the renovations much earlier than planned.

Meridian Sports & Social club winning the funding package will have a knock on our First Division clubs Bridon Ropes and Meridian VP who both share the main stadium pitch and facilities.

The refurbishments are to include new en-suite changing rooms for both SCEFL sides which will also include a new match officials changing room.

In other areas there will also be a completely new downstairs female WC facility with a new seperate disabled access toilet with baby change facilities included. The main entrance to the Club will also now feature a disabled access ramp and handrail.

As you can see from these images below work is well under way and on schedule. Bridon Ropes FC and Meridian VP would like to thank Meridian Sports & Social Club for their hard work and endeavor in securing the funding package from the London Marathon Trust which will enable greater inclusion for people to enjoy sport .
