Glebe welcome ‘House Music Heavyweight’ to Board of Directors

Glebe have been getting good at making big announcements lately and have now made another by welcoming Grammy nominated DJ and music producer Mark Knight on to their Board of Directors.

 

Mark has been at the forefront of the Commercial House and Techno Music scene for more than a decade now, and through his record label ‘TOOLROOM Records’ he champions the next generation of artists on the Electronic Dance Music scene.

He has now decided to mix business with pleasure and has chosen Glebe ahead of others to form a bond with and help progress.

‘TOOLROOM’ will be a major sponsor at the SCEFL Premier Division Club and Mark will join a board equally keen as him to see Glebe succeed.

On the announcement, Chairman Rocky McMillan spoke of his excitement on the link-up;

“We are very pleased to have someone like Mark on board with us. He will help us explore new avenues at our venue and open Glebe up to a whole new global audience.”

Indeed it will, Mark has hundreds of thousands of followers across Social Media, with fans across the World, and the new Director himself is equally excited about the new venture:

“The whole team at the record label are huge football fans – so to be aligning our two passions of music and football with this partnership is really exciting. We see Glebe FC as a club full of vision and potential, and we are looking forward to helping them on their journey over the next 12 months and beyond.”

It does look like being an exciting time ahead for the Foxes. Recent signings have turned a few heads and impressed many and now with equally good moves being made in the boardroom Chislehurst will quickly become the place to be.
