Tunbridge Wells have announced the addition of Paul Emerson to their Management Team.
Paul is a B Licensed coach that was most recently part of the successful set-up at Bromley FC.
First Team Manager Richard Styles spoke of his delight at bringing in such an experienced aide;
“I am delighted to bring someone with Paul’s knowledge and skill set to the Club. I’ve known Paul for a long time since being with him at Crawley Town in 2004/05. He has a wealth of experience at both professional and semi-pro level across a number of different roles that we will look to culminate together and benefit from each attribute, adding another string to our bow. He will take no time to settle in having already worked in and around my staff and clubs over the past few years where he scouted every upcoming FA Cup & FA Vase opponent.
He has met with the players and staff on their return to training”
Paul is clearly looking forward to taking up his new role;
Tunbridge Wells have an outstanding young manager who will take the club to a very good level. I know the backroom staff a little from last season so i’m impressed with the stability of the club especially through this crisis.
I see Tunbrdge Wells as a sleeping giant with the potential to move onwards and upwards to a higher level sooner rather than later. From what I saw and coached last Saturday these players are of Isthmian League quality so it’s exciting times ahead for all of us and I can help to be a part of that – we should be itching for the season to start.
I know the fans are brilliant home and away and they deserve success too!
Looking forward to the challenge and thanks for the opportunity to come on board!
All at Tunbridge Wells are now looking forward to the new season starting – and hopefully we get a update on when that will happen over the next few days.
