THE seven games gave us 24 goals on an action packed night of SCEFL Premier Division football.

Tunbridge Wells made it 2 wins from 2, with 2 Clean Sheets after a 4-0 home victory over Bearsted. Matt Day got the ball rolling 8th minute with Robbie Bissett doubling the scoreline before the break. A late Josh Frogatt double sealed matters giving Wells the 3 points and an early place at the top of the table.

Chatham Town are also 2 from 2. Manager Scott Lindsey wasn’t particularly impressed with his troops on Saturday, despite winning, but he had nothing to complain about here as they convincingly beat Punjab United 5-0 at the Bauvill Stadium.

Jack Evans volleyed home the first before Luke Rooney smartly finished from distance for the second.

Ryan Hayes then Moses Abioye made it a quickfire 4 with Evans completing matters from the penalty spot.

Billy Bennett was the star for Sheppey United as the Ites came from behind to beat Canterbury City 4-1.

Following a Rolando Onu opener for City Bennett fired home a hat-trick with Harrison Carnegie also netting for Sheppey in front of a sell-out crowd at the Total Power Stadium.

Balham are the 4th side to have won their opening 2 games so far.

An early Tom Read penalty gave us the only goal of the game in a tight affair against Fisher.

Corinthian recovered from weekend heartbreak to take the points at home to Lordswood.

They also recovered from going 1-0 down here, with Samson Alalade giving the Lords the lead before Josh Stirman and Josh James scored for the Hoops in a 2-1 win.

Beckenham Town and Glebe shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Eden Park Avenue.

In front of the maximum allowed crowd Becks twice took the lead through Harvey Brand then Tunde Aderonmu but each time Glebe quickly equalised with replies from Jamie Philpot then Eric De Melo.

AFC Croydon and Erith & Belvedere also finished even with Nahum Green and Steve Springett both scoring in a 1-1 draw at the Mayfield Stadium.
