It was all-change at the top again on Tuesday night as a first defeat of the League season saw Tunbridge Wells lose their grip of the lead which Corinthian gladly took back after a strong win on the road.

The Hoops have Beckenham Town to thank for their swift return to the summit after Becks beat Tunbridge Wells 3-0 at Eden Park Avenue.

Tunde Aderonmu made it 10 for the season with a double for the hosts while Steve Townsend added the third in the final minutes of the game.

The deserved win was a third in a row for Beckenham and they are now right back in the title race in 5th place.

Corinthian didn’t miss the chance to take the top spot back and did it in style with a 5-1 victory over Erith & Belvedere.

The game was as good as over at the break with Corinthian racing into a 4-0 lead thanks to an early Emmanuel Oloyede double plus strikes from Jack Mahoney and Frankie Morgan.

When Oscar Housego curled home the goal of the game for number 5 in the second half a cricket score was on the cards but full credit to the Deres who rallied well, got one back through Henry Dasofunjo and were only denied another by a good penalty save from Aiden Prall.

Sheppey United reamain the only unbeaten side in the Division after a narrow win at home to Lordswood.

Danny Leonard scored in the second half to put Sheppey into 3rd, 2 points off the top with a game in hand.

Glebe continued their move up the charts after winning 2-0 at home to Tower Hamlets.

First Half goals from Stacey Long and Eric De Melo gave the Foxes the points leaving Hamlets winless and stuck to the bottom of the table.

Hollands and Blair kept their 5th clean sheet of the season to return from Deal Town with a point.

Blair have the meanest defence in the Division, conceding just 5 times in their 9 games but had to settle for a share of the spoils with Deal after also failing to find the net, their 3rd goalless game of the campaign.

There was just the one goal between Bearsted and Crowborough Athletic and it went to the hosts as they picked up their 2nd midweek success in a row.

In a game of few chances Jordan Ababio took his, earning a win that moves the Bears up to 13th.

The most entertaining game of the night appeared to come at the Mayfield Stadium as Fisher looked to have thrown away 3 points before rescuing them back late on.

Tarik Ibrahim gave the Fish a 3rd minute lead which Jamie Yila double with his second half strike.

Billy Murphy netted a late double for AFC Croydon making the game all-square but Fisher were not to be denied and Rob Brown’s injury time penalty earned them the points.

There are 3 games on Wednesday night, where Chatham Town have the chance to go top when making the trip to Canterbury City.
