A Go Fund Me Page has been set up for Joe Ford, SC Thamesmead, who was struck down by sepsis 84 days ago and subsequently has battled for his life. He has been hospitalised since that first day and now he has to face further battles ahead.
His family have been by his bed side everyday and if we can raise much needed funds to help Joe in his future recovery it might make his return to health quicker.
Update on Joes condition he has taken the brave decision to have an amputation of his lower leg to help his long term recovery. This was carried out successfully and he is recovering well. His hands are improving daily but he still has a tough journey ahead. It’s now even more so we need everyone’s help, anything you donate goes directly to Joe to help his recovery.
Leg amputation?…. completed it mate! ✅
Rehabilitation starts now and of course the long road to recovery. It’s going to be hard, but with the support of everyone and the love shown, I know I will be just fine!
Here’s to the next chapter 💙 🍻
