Snodland Town unveil New Squad

Snodland Town have stepped up their preparations for the 2020/21 season by fully revealing their new look squad.

Luke Wallond has given us enough names to field two sides and will now be looking in great anticipation for a start date for the SCEFL First Division.

Arriving at Potyn’s Field:

Shaun Wicks – This ones a keeper, and has been for Rochester United and Hollands & Blair in the past.

Robin Woodward – Was in between the sticks 19 times for Borden Village during 2019/20.

Andy Foster – Remains at Potyns following 11 appearances last term.

Lee Sayer – The defender joins Snodland Town after a strong season for Kent County side Borden Village.

Lewis Stevens-Toomey – From Thanet United, Lewis will be adding strength to the Snodland Town defence.

Shane McNaught – Joins from Staplehurst, the defender appeared 14 times for them last season.

Dan Ashton – Also follows the manager from Staplehurst Monarchs having played 24 games last term from midfield.

Joe Sands – Netted 6 from midfield for Borden last season.

Andre Trenton – Former Kings Hill man notched up 20 games for the Kent County side last term.

Steve Sage – Last year’s Snodland Town Captain, racking up 27 appearances for the Spartans.

Adam Turton – The midfielder played 15 games for Kent County Division One side Thanet United last term.

Scott Higgins – Mr Versatile scored 9 for Staplehurst last year.

Will Phillips-Reid – Former Staplehurst Monarchs Captain that effectively led them to back-to-back titles.

Niall Salisbury – Completes the trio from Thanet. Scored 5 goals from Midfield last year.

Brad Webb – Scored 7 for Borden Village last term and will be competing for a midfield spot.

Harry Bradford – Retained from last year when he played 7 times for Snodland.

Reece Hunt – Another on course to win the title with Staplehurst, until the season came to an early end.

Jim Matthews – Previously with Snodland but played 23 times for Staplehurst last time.

Josh Brown – An attacking threat that is one of many to make the move from Staplehurst.

Jake Baker – This young prospect has played for the England under 17 Independent Schools FA Team.

Omar Elmantawy – The Staplehurst striker netted 15 in 19 last season.

Sam Winch – The former K Sports frontman netted 31 goals in 19 games for Staplehurst last season.

Snodland Town certainly look ready – Now we wait for that start date!
