An absolute Goalfest in the Premier Division today with 9 of the games racking up 49 netbusters – just a shame the other match had none!

Welling Town started the day on top and ended their too despite having to share the points with fellow high-flyers Tunbridge Wells.

League top scorer Ryan Golding put the Boots ahead in just the 9th minute, a lead that was extended shortly into the second half when Alex Nelson headed home.

Wells were not giving up easily though and came back with quickfire goals from Euan Sahadow and Miles Cornwell to earn a point and remain unbeaten in the League.

Corinthian are one of 3 sides to have their 100% winning record in the League still intact after they sent Fisher home from the Farm empty handed.

Emmanuel Oloyede scored twice for the Hoops with Louie Clarke and Oscar Housego getting the others in a 4-2 win to make it 4 wins from their 4 games played so far.

Sheppey United are another to have won 4 from 4, but only just as they needed a last minute winner to get past Balham.

Warren Mfula scored early for the Ites with Harrison Carnegie making it 2-0 before Balham came back into the game in the second half.

Goals from Tom Read and Cam Gordon levelled the scores but a late Mfula winner ensured that all 3 points went once again to the Ites.

Chatham Town are also now 4 from 4 and they had a comfortable path to get there, sweeping aside Tower Hamlets 6-1 at the Bauvill.

Moses Abioye, Jack Evans, Dan Bradshaw and Reece Butler were all among the goalscorers today as the Chats moved up to second place in the table, one point and one game behind the leaders.

For Tower Hamlets it was a 5th straight loss in the SCEFL and they now sit at the bottom of the pile.

Glebe got their season up and running with a narrow 3-2 win over Lordswood at Foxbury.

Charlie MacDonald scored first and last for the hosts with Stacey Long getting the other while Jason Perry and Dave Botterill both netted for the Lords.

It was also 3-2 at the Erith Stadium with hosts Erith Town coming out best against Crowborough Athletic.

The Dockers led 2-0 thanks to Dan Nash and Steadman Callender before the Crows soon levelled through Jack Funnell and Kieran Scantlebury.

Once again though it was left for Ryan Mahal to play the starring role for Erith Town and once again he obliged, scoring a 77th minute winner to give them their 3rd victory in a row.

AFC Croydon won for the first time this season, seeing off Canterbury City 3-0 at the Mayfield Stadium.

Michael Oshin, Jermaine Green and Emiliano Lika all scored for the Rams collecting them their first 3 points and handing City their 5th straight loss.

Bearsted beat Beckenham Town 4-3 in an absolute classic at Eden Park Avenue.

Andy Irvine continued his own fine form by scoring twice more with Jon Rogers and David Baranowski also netting for the Bears.

Becks staged a late rally to try and earn a point but despite two late finishes from Tyrone Pink it was not going to be their day and they suffered their first League loss.

There were also 7 goals scored at the Charles Sports Ground with Deal Town getting 5 of them as they beat Punjab United 5-2 to move into the top half of the table.

Alfie Foster, Ben Chapman, Macauley Murray, Toby Greenfield and Troy Howard were all on target for the Hoops while Luke Adams and George Goodwin were the scorers for a Punjab side that ended the day with just 8 men.

Despite all the goals elsewhere Hollands & Blair and Erith & Belvedere didn’t get involved in any of that stuff, playing out a rare 0-0 draw at Star Meadow.
