Saturday 12th October
Lordswood returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win away at Bearsted. Luke Medley got the opener in just the second minute before Lucian Scarlat responded from the penalty spot just before the break. The Lords won the game just before the hour mark when Felix Ogeah fired home and with the points they have now moved up to 13th place.
K Sports are just above them in 11th after they were impressive 3-1 winners at home to AFC Croydon. Matt Gething scored either side of a beauty from Connor Pring as the Paperboys handed AFC Croydon a 4th loss in a row.
Canterbury City are one of just 4 teams to pass through the 20 point mark so far as they returned from Star Meadow with the victory. Charlie Dickens was the author of Hollands & Blair’s hard times as he scored two quickfire goals before the interval had been reached. Liam King later drilled home a penalty to make it 3-0 as City are now starting to live up to their great expectations for this season. It’s not all bleak for Blair though as it is their first loss in five games and they remain in the top six.
