New Fisher manager Allan Fenn has revealed that his assistant manager will be former Tower Hamlets boss Ajay Ashanike.
via Twitter, Fenn gave the reasons behind his choice:
AJ has a wealth of experience in the game and has accepted my offer to leave Tower Hamlets as 1st team manager to join me at the Fish as my right hand man.
As I do, AJ can see the huge potential with club and how much it means to the people within the area.
Like myself, he cannot wait to meet you all.
The ‘Big Fella’ is respected by everyone he meets and cannot wait to get started.
I’m sure you’ll join me in welcoming the Big Fella to the Fish
Really happy to be part of this great club. Cant wait to kick start pre season and get this club back to where we need to be.
Also joining the backroom team, as Goalkeeper Player/Coach, is Chris Clark.
Another from the Essex non-league scene Clark can count Walthamstow, Billericay, Brentwood Town, Romford, Ilford, Barking and Tower Hamlets as some of his former sides.
Clarky has a wealth of experience playing for clubs in the south east area.
Predominantly a Goalkeeper, Chris will be pushing our quality young keeper all the way for a starting place but he will also be heavily involved in the coaching process.
I’d like to thank Lee Mackman & John Witham of Sawbridgeworth Town who have been first class in allowing us to speak to Chris in the first place.
Please join me & AJ in welcoming Clarky to the Fish.
