Miles joins Spartans Management Team

Rochester United manager Lloyd Hume has appointed Phil Miles to his management team.

A club statement said:

“We are delighted to formally announce that Phil Miles has joined the Spartans management team.

“Phil brings a wealth of footballing knowledge, having previously worked with clubs such as Chatham Town, Ebbsfleet United, Faversham Town and Rusthall.

“His experience will be a huge boost for the Spartans as we look to push on and fight for promotion.”

Miles joins a team battling away at the top end of the First Division, with the Spartans keen to tie down a top 4 promotion spot when we get under way again in December.

It has been a good season so far for Rochester, who have gained 5 wins and 2 draws from their 7 league games played.

Meanwhile, defender Andy Pierce has rejoined the Club following a 3 year abscence.
