Kent Football United have announced a new Management Team of Steve Devereux and Richmond Kissi.
Devereux remains with the club as was a coach under the previous regime and has previously managed at Crockenhill while Kissi comes in after a playing career that included many SCEFL Clubs over the last decade including Holmesdale last season.
A Club Statement says:
“KFU are delighted to welcome Richmond Kissi and Steve Devereux to the club. We are confident they can put together a side capable of pushing towards the top end of the table in what is a season of huge potential for lots of clubs in the SCEFL League.”
A happy Richmond Kissi responded:
“Absolutely delighted to be named Kent Football United Manager alongside Steve and can’t wait to meet the boys and get started on a successful season ahead.”
Kent Football were forced to act quickly to bring in the new men after the sudden departure of Danny Wakeling to Welling Town last week.
The club cancelled their first pre-season friendly but are expected to take to the field against Erith Town in a game being hosted at St Pauls Academy on Saturday.
