First Division

Kent Football United 1-1 Forest Hill Park

In an end to end game a point was a fair result in tough conditions at the Efes Stadium.

The hosts took the lead when Charlie Tagg was quickest to react from Forest Hill Park Goalkeeper Dillon Green’s fine save from a Kent Football free kick.

Forest Hill were level 5 minutes later when Alvin Turyatemba fired home from a through ball.

Turyatemba could have added to his goal 5 minutes later when he beat the offside trap, rounded the stranded Kent Football Goalkeeper but fired wide.

The game became scrappy as the rain poured down in Dartford.

Mason Saunders-Henry thenthought he’d scored the winner when he lobbed the home goalkeeper, only to be denied by the crossbar.

The point moves Kent Football up to 8th while 11th placed Forest Hill Park can move above them with a win at SC Thamesmead on Monday night.
