Glebe man encourages Autism understanding

Glebe photographer Kirk Pritchard has set up a group for autistic football fans to get more involved in the game.

Kirk is an is an AFC Wimbledon supporter that lives in Orpington and is autistic. He is the matchday photographer at Glebe and we have featured lots of his work over the past year.

“I have been following AFC Wimbledon since 2005 and become more involved in the club over the years to becoming its official photographer for documenting the new stadium build,” said Pritchard, who has set up AFC_Autism on Instagram.

“I love photography and split my style between Lego figurines and documenting protests of important movements.

“I am also the match photographer for my local football club, Glebe FC.

“I love football as much as I love photography and want more autistic people to be able to enjoy it as much as I do.

“I want to start the AFC Autism group to help clubs better understand how they can be more inclusive of people with autism and a place for autistic people to share their love of the game and in a safe and understanding space.”
