Rochester United remain at the top but were made to work hard for their points after Greenways rushed into a 2-0 half time lead. A strong last 20 minutes from the Spartans saw them complete a stunning comeback though with Harrison Hume scoring the winner in the final minute.
Second placed Holmesdale are now 10 games unbeaten in the league are sharing the points with Sutton Athletic at Lower Road. Nathan Palmer got the opener for the visitors before Conor Evans equalised in the second half.
Rusthall are up to 3rd, and still have games in hand on those above, after a comfortable 4-1 win at Kent Football United. The Division’s top scorer Luke Adams bagged himself a brace at the Glentworth Club as the Rustics condemned the bottom placed side to a 4th consecutive loss.
Kennington went behind twice yet still managed to beat Forest Hill Park in a fiesty 5-goal classic at Homelands. With the visitors leading 2-1 at the break second half goals from Sam Brown and Craig Calvert turned the game around to give the hosts all 3 points.
Lewisham Borough were also 3-2 winners and now occupy 6th spot thanks to their home win over Bridon Ropes. Talisman striker Ijah Currie-Wilson was once again their star with his two goals proving too much for the 16th placed visitors.
SC Thamesmead were the top scorers today with Tim Beckford scoring a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Lydd Town. The big man has now hit 18 goals in all competitions with 11 of those coming in this league campaign. For Lydd it was a 6th defeat in a row and they now slide to 14th position.
Stansfeld raced into a 2-0 lead against Meridian VP only but ended up having to share the points with their 13th placed hosts. Lennie Wise and Joe Minter scored early for Stansfeld before Jacob Skelly netted a double with the second coming in the final few minutes.
